Dior's Poetic Accessories

Dior's Poetic Accessories

Evoking a fantasy ancient world, Dior’s milliner, Stephen Jones, dreamt up modern crowns and precious offerings. From small hat veils (an embellishment dear to Christian Dior), based on 1940s archive models from around the world to golden head ornaments punctuated with flowers or snakes as well as delicate headbands recalling antique ornaments. It was a reflection of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s desire to celebrate the magnificent beauty of female deities from mythology.
