The experience is definitely personal they endeavour to get to know you, your wedding plans and your personal style assiting you with advice and a suggested selection of gowns until your find your perfect gown. Their bridal collection is one of the most diverse Queensland has to offer, with bridal gowns from boho to luxe modern with international and local designer labels. Which means they cater for a wide range of budgets and sizes. We sat down with the team and discovered their world of bridal; they should of warned they're passion is contagious. What tips do you have for brides-to-be searching for their ideal gown?
Keep an open mind! While it’s great to have done some research before coming in to try dresses, sometimes ‘the one’ can come from a little left of field. You may surprise yourself with which style suits you.
What inspired the Curve Collection?
Each and every woman deserves to feel beautiful on their wedding day and should not be limited by inadequate stock or sizing. Rather than allowing women to risk it by purchasing a gown online, the powers that be at White Lily Couture decided it was time to shake things up for bridal wear in Queensland. While we have always prided ourselves on our diverse range of sizes and styles, the brand new Curve collection offers drop-dead-gorgeous wedding gowns never before seen in Queensland available up to size 30.
What ignited the idea to open a new store?
As White Lily Couture continues to grow, we felt we needed not only more space, but a boutique that truly reflected our brand and the comprehensive experience we wanted to offer our brides. Our gowns are now all conveniently located in our entry-level showroom, so brides and their guests can view the entire range without missing a single gown.
Our brides say, ‘Yes!’ to their dress feeling like princesses in the comfort of our feminine and elegantly decorated boutique. Their guests too can enjoy their own little slice of luxury on plush velvet chairs. We always encourage our brides to take a snap against our entryway feature wall to commemorate their wedding milestone moment!
Best part about working in the world of weddings?
We love the joy and excitement we feel when we are able to help our brides find their perfect gown. The feeling is unbeatable and sometimes a little emotional. We often share our brides’ mix of delight, relief and happy tears.

Favourite thing about being based in Queensland?
We really enjoy the overall Queensland vibe. The people here are always relaxed and friendly. It’s a big city with a small town feel!
Favourite Queensland hotspot?
As a team, we’re all particularly partial to desserts and are absolutely mad for gelato. When our Queensland summer starts to heat up, we love heading to La Macelleria for a late-night sugar fix.
