OF what INSPIRES HER STYLE AND HER LOVE OF WEDDINGS.
Celebrations by Alysia is a Brisbane-based, luxury wedding and event planning, styling and design company. Director Alysia Bridger is a best-selling bridal author and has been recognised by LUX Magazine 2017 as one of the Top 20 Global Wedding Planners. Her expertise and vision is sought after for luxury celebrations, including weddings, corporate events, at-home celebrations and home styling. Alysia was recently invited as a guest speaker for celebrity floral designer Karen Tran in Phuket, Greece and London. In August 2017 Celebrations by Alysia hosted Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former butler for the Royal Afternoon Tea at Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast which was later named best event of 2017 on the Gold Coast. 2018 saw Alysia announced as and Ambassador for Wedded Wonderland.
Why weddings?
Getting engaged and planning a wedding is one of the most exciting times in a couple’s life together and it is an honour and a privilege to help bring their vision of their dream day to life. I also love ‘Love’ stories! Every day in my job is so joyful that I think I must have one of the happiest jobs in the world!

Favourite event to date?
I don't think I could pick a favourite as every event we work on or create is special to me. I do however love working with my team and all our wonderful clients.
I draw inspiration from…
Everywhere! During my travels around Australia and overseas I am always interested in the latest trends. I'm constantly looking for ideas about what might work with our couple's chosen venue. I think inspiration is around us all the time!
Favourite travel destination?
I love to travel. I have wonderful memories from many destinations around the world. One particularly special memory is when my husband and I renewed our wedding vows in Santorini after 22 years of marriage. Santorini is beautiful and we had so much fun travelling with our 3 children.
What's on the horizon for Celebrations by Alysia?
I'm very excited to be releasing a new wedding e-book next year. We are also busy planning lots of weddings for 2019!
